Great news for linux users!

Great news for linux users! I moved away from fglrx :D

So i finally got the overdrive 5 compiled in linux and started using amd sdk :D

For users that does not know what that means... Basically I received a lot of feedback from amd users saying that their GPU's are not compatible with fglrx.

Hope you guys can enjoy the app like every one else now :D

This also means that i can start implementing that pesky (not implemented yet) fan control in the app :D

So next i am planning to change the background of the app to gray-gradient and implement fan control like i mentioned earlier.

Once again here are the links to make your life a bit more easier :D

UPDATED SERVER! Got a brand new look!

UPDATED SERVER! Got a brand new look!

After long and hard work I finally managed to improve the server UI to a more friendly interface and it looks SEXY :P (Links at bottom of page)

I think this is wayyyyy better than the previouse one!

Here is a few screenshots :
The main interface :
Here you can see basic process information in progress line form, i think this looks good, why dont you give me some feedback? Maybe something you think would look better? Every bit of input will give you a better looking UI :)

Host IP address display :
You can view the host ip address now by clicking on "Host"->"Show Ip"
This is for users that does not know how to view it via cmd or network proporties and its ALOT easier than using those stuff.

Restart and stop server :
I noticed that the previous server's stop button did not work correctly but it works 100% now, there is also a restart option if you experience some problems.

Reset UI :
This option simply resets the progress lines to a clean slate so it would start to redraw it.

Hope you guys like this update took a lot of work and time :D
Please comment if you want to ask something or if you just want to say something :P
Also leave a like please :)
Be kind and dont forget to share :P #ShareOrDie lol

Overclock your GPU from your android device

Ever wanted a Afterburner alternative on Linux for AMD graphics cards?

Well so did i after looking around for hours, I couldn't find anything with a UI !
So I decided to create my own Afterburner alternative but with a cool twist.

I decided that just an app is not good enough especially if you are playing a game and quickly want to check the GPU temperature then you would need to minimize the game and go check out afterburner.

I know there are a few applications to show the GPU detail in games but that comes in the way some time.

So to the point, I created an MSI Afterburner alternative for Linux and windows but also created it as an App for android. So if you want to check your GPU temperature or want to crank up your GPU clocking you can now simply do it using the app. :D

You simply run a server on the host computer and connect the app via wifi.

Here is some screen-shots from the App :

And here is a screen-shots from the server :

As for now the App is not on the play store because i do not have the finances to pay the registration fee :(

So i implemented a GUI to the server, not much yet but i am still thinking how i can improve it.

Its not really like a server has to have a amazing GUI but at least you don’t have to run it from the command line anymore :D

Hope this helps you guys :D

So whats next?

So you might be wondering whats next in the AMD Overclock android app?

Well if you downloaded the app(Witch would be an excelent idea trust me, you can trust me i meen look at the awesome UI. Haha joking but really you should check it out) you would notice a fan speed control thats not implemented yet, I dont think i am going to work on that for now.

I was thinking somewhere more in the line of a server UI, because the console is a bit dull dont you think :) I am going to start work on the server UI today. Nothing major just to get rid of that "Hacking" feeling when you start the server lol.

I think the server would be updated in about 2-3 hours if i dont find something wierd in the code, as programmers always do#NotABugAFeacure. So i hope you guys will enjoy the new server UI.

For people not getting the server started here is how you do it :
 Windows :
  1. Shift right click on an empty spot in the same folder as the server
  2. Select open cmd/command window here
  3. Type in java -jar <with the server file name.jar> and press enter.
 Hope this helps!
